javascript - Detect HTML video autoplay prevention -

mobile browsers prevent video autoplay understandable reasons. have video background on site, control buttons out of question, thought pop window info , button, user can accept background video (triggering manual play) or not, , change static pic.

so question is: there way tell if autoplay interrupted browser?

i tried onerror doesn't fire tried onsuspend well:

it works pretty on tablet (chrome), on desktop (chrome) onsuspendkeeps triggering infinitely (firefox alright though).

any ideas on chrome problem or alternatives?

there no javascript standard function matches specification, since it's security feature of mobile browsers... (it can prevent cellular data waste). but, if have tried code , working in mobile browsers, can write code detects if you're on mobile, , if so, enable handler:
