ubuntu - Linux to Windows cross-compilation, multiple libraries -
i have finished program distribute colleague, , can find no "de-facto" tool chain or resource or guide, or opinion, on best approach cross-compilation. know there ever cookie cutter solution, still surprised lack of information in regard.
i have begun trying cross-compile of libraries use (and dependencies) of course, not going smoothly. reference decided go basic instructions here. have followed instructions see them.
conveniently enough, needed png/jpeg/zlib libraries used examples in link above. able cross-compile libtiff , leptonica. momentum, moved on 1 of more beastly libraries -- tesseract. @ point, during ./configure ....
step, says cannot find leptonica. don't understand, pertinent leptonica files installed, right (and link above) want them be. rub rooted in way tesseract built, differs prior libraries built previously. tesseract goes autogen.sh -> configure -> make ->make install
. have no idea how mitigate this.
so question: should continue bother down route? other libraries use opencv, , imagemagick. if should, can please ease pain. if should not continue down route, easiest way switch (very old) windows xp computer, , package software? doubt of software use support development on platform.
