python - Multiple log files -

i'm acquainting myself logging module , confused proper way handle different levels. flow chart indicates nothing below set level gets passed logger object why log below set level? should make multiple log file? example, logging.basicconfig(filename='general_log.log',level=logging.warning) , logging.basicconfig(filename='detailed_log.log',level=logging.debug) in single script?

multiple logging levels different purposes. example developer when developing new functionalities, can set logging level debug can debug code , can set logging level info when run program in production. debug level logging muted.

you can make multiple log files. example if want trace error logs easier, can log them separate file , saves time find them in regular log file.
