authentication - Auth session in Cakephp is not deleted on close browser -


i want delete auth session created in site when user close browser

i have seen , tested other solutions posted , releated this, none of them helped me. configuration in core.php:

here relevant settings in php ini:

session.cookie_lifetime=0 session.gc_probability=1 session.gc_divisor=1000 session.gc_maxlifetime=1440 session.cache_expire=180

i have "are still there?" functionality ask user every 10 minutes session meanwhile browser open.

i have tried 'cookietimeout' => 0' , 'session.cookie_lifetime' => 0' settings session alive when reopen browser.

i tried change handler php cake, , many other combinations,

is there thing im missing?

using cakephp 2.5

i searching , seems that, browser ff , chrome have "open before." setting. , leave few solutions "clear cookies , other site , plug-in data when close browser" in chrome or "keep until close firefox." or not save tabs when reopen browser.

this not great finding. turned off options , cookies deleted expected. cannot control every computer in world =(.

however session deleted after 10 minutes had.

i'll try other resources sessionstorage fear same result. maybe ajax observant?
