ubuntu - Where did mpich install? -


i used sudo apt-get install mpich in terminal. installed fine. must edit rc file mgrid2 according these instructions. 1 thing must specify path mpich installed , cannot find it! did find .h files in /usr/include isn't correct path. i've pasted install output below.

any thoughts on how find mpich installed? i'm running ubuntu 15.10.

the instructions suggest path /usr/x86-local/mpich/ch_p4 don't have /usr/x86-local/ usr/local , it's not there.

find /usr -name mpich , whereis mpich returned:

which mpicc , whereis mpicc returned:

/usr/bin/mpicc.mpich /usr/bin/mpicc /usr/bin/mpicc.mpich2 /usr/share/man/man1/mpicc.1.gz

point is, nothing i've tried far had subdirectory ch_p4 in when did ls.
