Python shell is open but not .py file? -


i using python 3.4.2 idle on windows. when open idle shell , open .py file, works, but when try open .py file double cliking, doesn't open, or proceed anything. looks if nothing has happened.

i open .py file , press f5 see going on rather individually open file (i still beginner python, know can use pycharm, @ point, enough)

when double click on .py file, run using python interpreter. can right-click on file instead , choose open in idle.
