Are there specific performance benefits to upgrading a WinForms app from .NET 3.5 to the 4.6.x? -


i have number of older winforms apps on .net 3.5. i've read lot of speed improvements later .net frameworks seemed focused on server side.

are there specific performance benefits reap on winforms side documented somewhere?

see new features each asp.net version , able determine whether code heavily uses libraries have been optimized.

what's new in .net framework

.net 4.6.1
