osx - Notes 901 Install on El Capitan not launching -


i have mac user upgraded el capitan. we've been trying install notes on machine. installs when try , launch it, window comes saying notes starting 'please wait' closes , nothing happens. called ibm support have not been able figure out. had me 'preferences' file should in library folder (they say) apparently not getting created. able find data directory in 'ibm notes > contents>resources>english.iproj>data' , populated bunch of templates seem getting installed. user has admin privs on machine. ideas appreciated.

found problem: old files not removed uninstaller apparently causing problem. deleted notes folder install went ahead. complained not having names.nsf file retrieved trash , worked.
