I tried everything but I can't get android studio to work -


i'm new android studio. want make simple android app can't add functionality design. when try drag text box design view won't allow me to.

at first, getting lot of rendering errors. downloaded different versions of sdk, installed sdk views , changed theme. eventually, errors stopped showing up. still can't add elements design. i'm not sure going on.

here's looks right now

layout designer in android studio or eclipse sucks.

so if learning or pro should directly use layout.xml file add , edit button in way able control layout better.
