Can I install R from within RStudio? -


r version 3 released announced @ r bloggers. using rstudio , know if possible install new version within rstudio. precautions may installed packages, functions , data?

rstudio has built-in support updating packages, not updating r itself.

if you're using windows, new installr package can used update r (as mentioned on r-bloggers). otherwise update need more manual.
