r - Setting up a proxy connection for R3.2 or RStudio in Windows 7? -


i first-time user r , newbie in r programming. trying install bioconductor. however, got 407 error everytime. read download.file according "wininet" preferred method windows set proxy. use wininet setting proxy connection authentication details, steps should follow?

it helpful , other beginners if answer provided in detailed, step-wise manner. thank much.

p.s. have tried adding http proxy details in r shortcut path, didn't work.
