When does the Google Maps Android SDK first use the internet? -


i'm making app includes google maps fragment (supportmapfragment). created activity using templates in android studio relevant pieces of code this. i'm trying figure out first need request user permissions internet access in order compatible android 6.0 permission system. i'm checking user permissions on mapfragment.getmapasync(this); call safe.
