Android Studio not working properly after installing an older version -


i have latest stable version of android studio 1.5.1. since course taking udacity(developing android applications) uses older version 0.6.8, installed older version.

the latest version worked fine; older version not able sync projects gradle files , says "no render target selected" when trying design fragment_main.xml file.

i have tried many suggestions stackoverflow pointing android studio sdk directory didnt work me.

honestly, think should strive use latest , greatest version of android studio. know when mismatch between gradle plugin version , gradle build system version, strange, incomprehensible, errors result. plugin , build system represent 2 different components different versions. valid combinations of supported version pairs published on developer.android.com. take @ table here.
