Eclipse dynamic web project has multiple deployment descriptors -


i have eclipse dynamic web project has multiple deployment descriptors (2 extra) adversely affecting deployment:

i not know how came be, nor how rid of them. there 1 web.xml file in project located in webcontent/web-inf

how eliminate descriptors?

created new dynamic web project in workspace. new project has 1 deployment descriptor:
